![]() (i’m actually going into week 6 of another round of Max30) i’ve seen this story played out many times, and it always ends with the person quitting after 5 days max. i’ve been doing this for 10 years now, and have completed multiple rounds of most beachbody programs, including those 2. they offer very little in terms of strength training mainly because there are no weights involved and you can’t get in enough reps with the body weight moves because you’re constantly cardio fatigued. ![]() they are simply a collection of cardio intense, one dimensional, high impact, plyometric based workouts. insanity is one of the most ‘difficult’ programs (Max30 being the other) but ‘difficult’ does not translate to ‘best’ program for you. ![]() if you want this (fitness) to be sustainable and a lifestyle choice ( which should be your goal) you need to start slow and build. you can do insanity until the cows come home but if your diet is not in check you will lose only so much weight, and it will come back as soon as you stop. if losing weight is your main goal, you need to look at your diet. you’re looking for the quick fix and this isn’t it.
